Vintage pair of embroidered towels, darling dogs

Two cute dogs, terriers of some form, adorn these two vintage towels. The set is so nicely done, with great embroidery and crocheted hems, While obviously companion pieces, they are just a bit different from each other. One dog is brown, the other is black, one carries a brown basket, while the other holds a yellow one. Both are in good condition, no spots or holes that I have found, and they are freshly laundered and ironed (ugh! I hate ironing!) so ready to hang. The front edge of each towel is elaborately crocheted, and the edge on the back is also nicely sewn. Again, a bit of a difference, one is blue with pink accents, the other crochet effect is pink with blue. What a sweet set for your guest bath, or kitchen. The towels measure 21" by 16", so a terrific size and they are done on a waffle weave type cotton. A super vintage set.
