Vintage sterling silver locket pin or brooch, book shape

This is a delightful old sterling locket in the shape of a book. It dangles from a pretty bow, and opens to reveal two spaces for pictures. One space is currently occupied by a black and white photograph of a smiling woman. Lots of detail on this sweet old brooch, you'll notice the corners of the book with their floral leaf look on both front and back. The hinges work well, and there is a hint of a spine on the hinge sides. Measuring 1" by .75" when closed, it is about 1.5" from the bottom of the book to the top of the bow. A minor ding on the back side, pin prick size, with both the bow and the interior of the locket marked sterling. A charming vintage piece, I estimate 1930's to 1940's. What a gem to hold images of your loved ones near your heart!
