Pair of vintage silver overlay glass candle holders, horses

An elegant pair of glass candle holders with a silver overlay featuring horses. A cornucopia shape, with a curled horn and a sturdy base, each has scenes of horses and their riders on three sides. One shows a polo player, mallet raised on two sides, while on the front he is taking a swing at the ball. The other has the same scene on all three sides, a gentleman rider on his horse, coat tails flying at the gallop. The top rims of the holders are also accented in silver layer, with a minor dent on the one with the polo player, not distracting. I've polished these beauties up since I photographed them, and they have a lovely glow. No damage to the heavy glass, they stand 3.5" tall, just under 3" square at the top, the base about 2.5" on a side. Lovely on your table, the candlelight reflecting the silver, these would also be superb holders for a posy arrangement. An outstanding equestrian find.
