Very rare large 3-1/4" x 2-3/4" Victorian Arts and Crafts Movement belt sash buckle. Features gilt over bronze with 8 carats of synthetic blue zircon, twisted wire edge, and raised beaded work. Round faceted zircons have wonderful rich greenish blue color and each measure 6mm x 3.5mm. Very good condition, the back is starting to show very slight wear of the gilt. Has never been cleaned and retains all of its original age tarnished patina. Circa 1900. $7.95 US ship/insure.
