This one is such a beauty. Circa 1880, its design is expressed in the same romantic lines of the originals hanging in French salons more than a century before. This oval gilded gesso on wood mirror is decorated with a classic French cartouche on both the top and bottom of the mirror. The beveled mirror is surrounded by gilded acanthus leaves. Beautiful condition. Heavy. 26” radius, mirror frame; 32” from cartouche to cartouche. Value: $1200
