Mexican Silver Irridiscent Abalone Brooch Pendant - A. Munoz Taxco

Offered is a vintage sterling silver and abalone pendant brooch created by the silver artisian A. Munoz. The brooch is shaped like a 10 petalled flower. It measures just under 1.75" across. On one of the petals, the shell does not completely extend to the end, but I believe it was made this way, look at the picture, top right petal. The back is marked with 925, Mexico, Sterling, Taxco, the initials A.M. and the eagle three. This is not the typical mark for A Munoz, where the name is spelled out, which leads me to believe it is an earlier piece.
