Etching of 'The High, Oxford' Signed Peter Graham

This is a signed Peter Graham (1836-1921) etching titled “The High, Oxford”. The sepia toned etching focuses on Oxford and from there everything else is less detailed to diminish its importance compared to the prestigious Oxford. There is good use of perspective and the line work is clean and very detailed. The backing of the frame is ripped around the seam of the frame and cardboard, but it still has it’s sticker from the frame store” The Mintz Art Store Picture Frame Manufacturers” that is in good condition for it’s age (possibly 100 years old), as well as the label describing the etch on back. The dimensions of the frame are 12 1/8”Hx 13 5/8” W and the inner window is 9” W x 6 ½” H
