A very classy late 1940's wool skirt suit. This handsome set is made from a brown with hints of blue plaid fabric that is crisp for a wool and a very fine weave. Very smartly styled with large pointed lapels, large shoulder pads and segmented pockets. The jacket is lined with a brown plush satin and it closes in front with a single double button. It is labeled "Bonniecraft Tailleurs" and has a National Recovery Board tag. The skirt is unlined and has a side opening with metal zipper and button.
Condition is excellent with only two tiny moth holes, one in each sleeve, to report for flaws. Positively pristine other than that with no stains, spots, other holes or fabric wear plus the lining is problem free. Thoroughly bright, fresh and clean and it has been recently dry cleaned.
Fairly large in size with outside dimensions of the jacket while lying flat of: 40" bust, 36" waist, 17" across the shoulders (large shoulder pads remember), 25" sleeves and 28" from shoulder to bottom edge. The skirt measures: 31" waist, 43" hips and 29" from waist band to bottom of hem.
Shipping is $7.85 for priority.
