A gorgeous 1880's era black feather boa. This wonderful boa is constructed from many small dyed feathers attached to a central cord and is held closed in front with little black ribbon ties. A very, very elegant piece of Victorian vintage history.

Condition is very good at a minimum with no heavy wear of any sort. There are a few bent or broken feathers but they all remain very tightly attached and there is no significant feather loss overall. Mostly just very clean, fresh and glossy.

The boa measures about 5" wide along the feathers and is 38" in length overall not counting the ribbons.
