A gorgeous 1880's era black feather boa. This wonderful boa is constructed from many small dyed feathers attached to a central cord and is held closed in front with little black ribbon ties. A very, very elegant piece of Victorian vintage history. Condition is very good at a minimum with no heavy wear of any sort. A gorgeous 1890's white organdy afternoon tea dress with delicate lace ribbon inserts and a classic late Victorian tall collar. Small knife pleats decorate the neckline, bodice edges and sleeve cuffs while larger horizontal pleats highlight the skirt. The fabric has a crisp body and the dress closes down the back with beautiful shell buttons (one is missing). Condition rates excellent with only one small hole to be found and no other holes, tears, dirt or fabric wear. Even the area around the front hook and inside the collar is completely wear free.
