From the 1920's, this necklace has 7 genuine amethysts and a genuine amethyst bead drop. The necklace is 15 inches long and the drop is over 1 3/4 inches long. The amethysts are 11mm by 15mm, and the larger center one is 13mm by 17mm. The filagree work is very nice and over all condition is very good. The necklace is not marked but tests positive (guaranteed) for sterling. C. 1920.

The pendant is not marked but tests to 14k. The bloomed gold has a peach skin quality which you just don't find any more. The pendant is just over 2 1/4 inches long including bale, by 17mm wide. The genuine diamond is 2.5 mm across and the 2 Mississippi river pearls are original to the piece. The pendant comes with a 10k gold chain that is 16 inches long. The chain is not original but is a old one. Condition is very good.C. 1900.

This brooch is so unique! It is 1 5/8 inches across by 1 3/4 inches long. It is made of tortoise shell which has tiny bits of inlaid gold in it. The pin and all gold parts test to at least 14k. All the balls including the tiny 3.5mm balls are studded with very tiny gold dots. The piece is in remarkable condition for its age and delicacy. C. 1860 and in very nice condition with no missing or broken pieces.

These sweet earrings were hard to scan so I apologize for the quality of the photo. They are not marked but acid test to 9k. They are 13mm high not including the ear wires. The gold is a nice rose colour and the unfoiled pastes are set into a lovely buttercup setting. Condition is good and the earrings are all original. C. 1880 and most likely English in origin.

This Bohemian garnet necklace has lovely garlands that make it quite special. The necklace is in "Garnet Gold" or gold plated brass. It is 18 inches long and the drop is 1 3/4 inches long. All garnets are present and the clasp is a very nice box clasp with a good strong catch. C. 1890 and in good condition.

I cannot convey to you how well executed this bracelet is. It is all hand made, you can see the score marks at the back where the artist was planning to put the hinges. The bracelet is 7 1/8 inches long and 1 3/4 inches wide. It is 4.9mm thick which is really significant when you feel it and wear it. The piece is Continental in origin it has tiny touch marks which I can't distinguish. It has been acid tested and tests positive for sterling. The enamelling is in good condition. C. 1990.

This Haskell necklace is unusual in that it has an Art Deco feel. The necklace is 17 inches long and the drop is 2 inches by 1 inch wide. The pearls are a dreamy greyish colour and are in very nice condition. The clasp is marked Miriam Haskell. The tiny pearls in the pendant are signature Haskel, all in all a great find!

This necklace is unusual for its length as well as the bow closure. The choker is 14 1/4 inches long and 5mm wide. It has lovely side etchings on the sterling and as well slits to let the light through. The clasp has hexagonal pastes that represent a bow, very Deco! The clasp is in great working order and there is a security catch as well. Marked sterling C. 1925 and American in origin.

This necklace is marked Miriam Haskell on the back of the clasp. It is an older Haskell. The beads are a cream colour and are 11mm long and almost 10mm wide. The necklace length is 22 inches. The pearls are all in good condition. The clasp pearls are all worn to the glass which seems to always happens on these clasps.

This beauty was in my own collection for years. The dragonfly is marked 935 Sterling on its body at the back. The bug is 1 3/4 inches across and the green pastes are open backed and channel set. One of the faux pearl drops has been replaced but it is a good match. The necklace length is 16 inches and the chain has its original tube clasp. C. 1900 and in good condition. Most likely German in origin

This gorgeous cameo frame is 2 1/4 inches tall. The cameo itself is 2 inches tall by 1 1/2 inches wide. The frame is beautifully filigreed and has yellow gold tulip appliques on top, bottom, and sides. The cameo itself is besel set as all good cameos are. The back has its original findings which include a swivel bale to wear as a pendant. The locking catch is marked 14k. The cameo has some light feather cracks the top. C. 1900.

I have had Victorian faceted amber beads before, but none of this size and length. The beads are genuine un - fudged - with Baltic amber beads. They range in size from 10mm in length to a mammoth 30mm! The necklace is a luxurious 33 inches long. The beads are in very nice condition and the necklace has recently been restrung. The brass clasp is very unique. It has a spring mechanism as well as a locking part, hard to explain but very interesting. C. 1880.

These cuff links are from the Victorian era, C. 1880. They are just under 1 1/2 inches long. The beads are 12mm round and the oblong shaped beads are 21mm long. The genuine Siberian amethysts are set in silver that is unmarked but tested. The colour of the amethysts is lighter than shown. Condition is very good.

I am so lucky to offer another genuine rock crystal necklace of this length. This necklace is 35 inches long. It has recently been professionally restrung and hand knotted in between each bead with silk string. The high quality beads are hand faceted and are 6mm to 13mm. Condition is very good. C. 1930.

I tried to get a good picture of the bird but the lighting was not on my side. The bird looks like a duck with its wings up. The seal is made of gorgeous Scottish agate and the seal itself is bezeled with ornate hand chased silver. The handle is 8 sided. There are no hallmarks but guaranteed silver. The seal is 53 mm long by 9 mm wide. There are a couple of flea bites to the handle but nothing serious. English in origin and C. 1860.

This charming pin is 1 1/4 inches wide by 1 1/8 inches long. It is comprised of a carat gold bottom and a paste encrusted silver top. The closed back clear pastes are bead set, and the large red pastes are crimp set. The tube hinge and c-catch are both Victorian replacements. C. 1850.

This beautiful pin is not marked but is gold of at least 14k. It is 1 1/8 inches across by just over 3/4 inch tall. The genuine coral center plaque has cross grained carving. It is surrounded by 12- 5mm rosettes of carved coral. The back has a glazed compartment with tightly weaved brown cloth. The pin back is original and has a long t-hing and c catch. C. 1800 and English in origin.

This is such an unusual bracelet. It is marked 9ct and also has some indistinguishable makers mark - a letter and then a dot and then a j in a lozenge cartouch. The center has graduated hollow "cannon balls" that lead to a wonderfully decorated lady bug or lady bird as the English call it. This gorgeous brooch has the ancient look but it was made around the turn of the 20th century. The c catch has a touch mark but I can't make it out. The metal content is silver, most likely 900 as that was what was used in this type of jewellery. The beryl stones are heavily included and the garnets are a pleasing pink colour. The large central blister pearl is 13mm in diameter. All stones are besel set. Condition is good. C. 1900.

This colourful bracelet is a fine example of cloisonne work that the Russians were, and still are famous for. The bracelet consists of 18 3/8 inch domes that are decorated in turquoise, royal blue, red, dark green and white cloisonne.The double domes are inter spaced with links that have a dome cap. This delightful pin is genuine bakelite. The pin part is a semi transparent green bakelite which is a little shy of 1 1/2 inches wide by 5/16 inch tall. The gorgeous carrots are 1 3/4 inches tall. What an unusual combination this brooch has for stones! The colour of the stones is much more vibrant than my scanner allows. The brooch itself is 2 1/2 inches across and the claw set stones are in gold gilt over brass. The rose quartz cabs are 21mm by 14mm. The jadeite cabs are 11mm and the center one is 14mm. This is a very large piece at 3 3/4 inches tall by 2 3/8 inches wide. The cross is made of patinated iron and the oval pastes are all knife set into individual frames. The oval pastes are 7/8 inch long and are open backed. The colour of the stones is much richer in person. The cross can be worn as a pendant or as a pin. C. 1860 and in very good condition.
