This cute little duck is modeled after the several rescued ducks that reside at Chateau L'Hesperit Animal Sanctuary / Rescue and Rehabilitation Center. The sanctuary is located in the historic Village of Montcaret and incorporates 55 acres of protected natural habitat at 300 yard from the Roman Ruins, the remains of a huge Roman Villa active over 2000 years ago .

The Objectives are:

A sanctuary which provides a permanent home to abused, abandoned & neglected domestic & farm animals A medical facility devoted to the rescue, rehabilitation and eventual release of wildlife native to the area. The repopulation of the land with rare and endangered species.

The staff consists of veterinarians, licensed wildlife rehabilitators and a staff of devoted caretakers; All together making a difference in the lives of animals in need.

The pin is made with First Quality Swarovski crystals in round chaton & Marquis cuts all prong set by hand o n a hematite plated base metal. The piece is signed on the back with our logo and measures 1 1/8 in. 100 % of profit from the sale of this piece goes to the sanctuary to be used to support continued housing & care for the 250 animals that currently permantetly reside there.
