This adorable rooster is modeled after 'The Baron'. 'The Baron' is a real rooster and resides with his harem of 5 hens on the grounds of the Association des Animaux de L'Esperit in France. Chateau L'Hesperit Animal Sanctuary / Rescue and Rehabilitation Center is located in the historic Village of Montcaret and incorporates 55 acres of protected natural habitat at 300 yard from the Roman Ruins, the remains of a huge Roman Villa active over 2000 years ago . The Objectives are:

A sanctuary which provides a permanent home to abused, abandoned & neglected domestic & farm animals. A medical facility devoted to the rescue, rehabilitation and eventual release of wildlife native to the area. The re-population of the land with rare and endangered species. This lovely pin is made with First Quality Swarovski crystals all prong set by hand on a hematite plated base metal. The colors used are Ruby, Light Colorado Topaz, Topaz & Jet in round chaton & Navette cuts. It is signed on the back, measures 1 1/4 W x 1 3/16 H.
