The scorpion is an arthropod with eight legs, belonging to the order Scorpiones in the class Arachnida. There are approximately 2000 species of scorpions. This one, however, is a special crystal species! She is made with First Quality Swarovski crystals in round chaton and oval cuts all prong set by hand on a hematite plated base metal. The pincher, legs and claws are made with plated wire and the tail curves upward for a realistic effect. This is hard to see in the photo but I am showing a close up of the side view of tail. It comes in Black (Jet) with blue (Montana Blue) or green (Olivine) and Topaz (Smokey Topaz & Topaz). Measures 3 3/4 in. L x 2 1/4 in. W and is signed on the back with our logo.
