1950s Laurita Novelty Carryall with Original Box - Marked

For your consideration is a original 1950s vinyl brown faux alligator skin exterior Laurita Novelty Carryall with its original box. This carryall was geared toward the teenagers of the 1950s. It looks like it was never used! It has a brown matching vinyl wrist handle. The goldtone metal clasp is tight. When opened it has a green vinyl long section that has a place for a nail file, plastic comb, pencil & a snap in & out key chain on one end. (The original file, comb & pencil are all present.) There is a green plastic coin sorter at the other end that flips up to reveal a stretch ribbon that holds a mirror & identification card. (It is the original mirror & it is not in very good condition. It is not broken just very tarnished. Easy to replace, however!) In a separate pocket inside there is a place to put your name, address & social security number. (This was long before identity theft came along!) Behind the green vinyl section is another area to put your paper money. The box, itself, shows a little wear, however, there isn't any tears. There is some discoloration on the inside of the box, but only mentioned for accuracy! In excellent vintage condition. It is in excellent vintage lightly used condition.
