For your consideration is a vintage 1930s-40s Federal Glass Co. 1 Lb. Amber Glass Covered Butter Dish. Unmarked, but see page 126-127 of "Kitchen Glassware of the Depression Years" by Gene Florence, copyright 2001, updated 2003. It has the word "Bottom" printed on it, of course, on the bottom. In excellent vintage condition. No chips or cracks. Dimensions are approx.: 3 1/2"T X 6 1/2"L (handle to handle) X 3 1/2"T.
