Black Americana: Framed Heart Shaped Quilt Piece Photo

For your consideration! This is a very unique & lovely framed African American Remembrance piece. A lovely vintage photo of a Black American lady & daughter is framed & handstitched in a vintage red with goldtone floral design heart shaped material. Then handstitched again onto a pretty goldtone with white & tan small floral material for the background. Seven black beads are sewn at the top of the heart & the word "FOREVER" is stamped nicely on a piece of old gold ribbon & attached on one side of the heart. On top & at the bottom of the heart is a old sales tag with "MEMORIES x 1896" stamped on it & attached. At the top is four old round cardboard centered & tin trim key tags. Each tag has a letter on it that spells: LOVE. All is under glass & framed in a old black wooden frame. (The framing has just been recently done or redone, because it has a brown paper backing & a metal tooth hanger on the top. The frame is black, but has some scuffed edges here & there, but it adds to the look! Also, the photo is old, but looks like it may have been copied onto some kind of material. Hard to tell & I don't want to take this beautiful piece apart in case of ruining it! I'll leave that to the new owner!)

Absolutely lovely way to remember love ones! Excellent older condition. Dimensions are approx.: 11 1/2"L X 9 1/2"W. Unmarked.
