For your consideration is a Black Americana: Vintage Advertising Cardboard Fan. It is marked on the back: Phone HE 1-3860, J.V. LEWIS CO., Manufacturers of Fine Ice Creams And Punches, "The Flavor That Can't Be Beat", 7506 Central Ave., Cleveland, Ohio. Liberty Advertising Co., Swarthmore,, PA., Made in U.S.A. On the front it is pictured a scenic floral garden with a African American Mother (with a rake in her hands & on one knee), watching her son watering the flowers with the watering can. In excellent vintage condition. No tears, etc. Some light yellowing on the back from age. (This fan is original & from unused stock found in an old store or warehouse.) Dimensions are approx.: 10"T X 10 1/2"W.
