This purse is very unique! Someone took the time to embroider a Folk Art Style design of evergreen trees, each in black with a different colored edge design in red or green or blue. Inbetween each row is a different two-tone colored line! It looks to have been done on a burlap type material in light tan. The purse frame is goldtone with a lovely & rich filigre raised design. The latch on top lifts up and the frame opens to almost square in shape. Very unique, different, etc.! I have never seen a purse frame like this one before! The chain handle itself is also very unusual! A little filigre design on each goldtone loop that is each oval in shape. (Chain: Approx. 20"L end to end). Except for one little brown spot on one upper side corner, it is in excellent condition. The flaw is hardly noticeable & only mentioned for accuracy! Dimensions are approx.: 11 1/2"L X 11"W. Early 1900s approx.!
