Volupte Brushed Silvertone Metal Compact Carryall/Purse

Absolutely lovely and in excellent vintage condition. Brushed silvertone on the sides of the carryall and shiny silvertone on the edges. The clasp is a pretty clear rhinestone ball clasp. (Missing 6 very small rhinestones! Because of the coloring of the carryall & being clear rhinestones, it is hardly noticeable. In fact! I checked it out very closely when purchased and didn't notice them missing until just now!) There are a few scratches on the sides from use, but that is expected of a vintage item such as this. Otherwise, it is all mentioned only for accuracy and the carryall is in excellent vintage used condition. No dents, etc. It doesn't look like it was hardly used on the inside! Goldtone in color with a very clear mirror on the door of the cigarette compartment. It still has the original beige cloth coin purse & Max Factor lipstick. The lipstick is about the item in the carryall that has been used. The powder puff in the powder compartment is still there. It is marked Volupte USA on the top of the powder compartment, also. It comes in its original black faille carrying case with strap. Dimensions are approx.: (Carryall): 4 1/2"T (top of clasp to bottom) X 5 1/2"L X 1"W. (All or any flaws mentioned are minor & only mentioned for accuracy!)

Can be seen in "Vintage Vanity Bags & Purses" by Roselyn Gerson, Copyright date 1994, page 171. The one in the book is the same carryall as this one, but in all goldtone. It's estimated price is $125-$150 and this book is the 1994 version. So the estimated price should be more, now! Price quoted covers any flaws!
