From the late 1800s to early 1900s is a very old but wonderful full set of 6 lithograph nursery rhyme pictures & changeable lithograph picture blocks that match each picture. All are in a wooden hinged box that has one of the 6 original lithographs on the top for display & a pretty lithograph design trim around the edges. Purchased from a collector's long time collection of small toy sewing machines. This one is marked: Casige, Made in Germany, British Zone, Gersch. M 7470 on the silvertone top plate. The color is a dark forest green metal. The round handle with wood tip still turns & the needle still goes up & down. The goldtone Eagle (symbol) & Casige is still marked on one side.
