A gorgeous Victorian cut glass and sterling silver mounted perfume or scent bottle / phial. Measures 9 3/8” long! The glass body is decorated in an all over cut pattern that decreases in size along the length of the bottle. Nice thick and heavy glass with wonderful clarity; illuminates just beautifully when reflected by light. The screw type lid has a spherical top and cork lined interior.

Fully hallmarked with lion passant and anchor for Birmingham, date letter L for 1885 and silversmith initials of CM for Charles May. Overall the scent bottle is in good condition with nibbles to the tips of the cut pattern.
