Gorgeous antique French sterling silver serving set comprised of 4 exquisite hors d'oeuvre or bonbon servers featuring a beautifully engraved spreader and 3-pronged fork, as well as an elaborately pierced serving spoon and flat server- all housed in their original presentation box. An ornate winged flaming torch motif adorns each handle surrounding a central cartouche with engraved monogram of interlacing initials WD.

The set is complete, in the box and in very good condition. Light wear to the presentation box commensurate with age.

Hallmarked with the French Minerva 1st standard for .950/1000 silver as well as maker's marks A. VAGUER for Parisian silversmith Alexandre VAGUER, active in 1884 at 114 rue du Temple, Paris.
