An exquisite pair of antique French mother of pearl opera glasses with extending handle by Audemair. Luminous mother of pearl panels surround the barrels and handle in an array of iridescent colors with the added bonus of a unique dyed surface in a beautiful peach color!

In wonderful condition. Marked Audemair Paris with a stag logo upon the eye pieces. A similar stag logo and MADE IN FRANCE are marked on the brass fittings.

The binoculars alone measure about 4" in width from barrel to barrel, 1 3/4" in height and can extend to a height of 2 1/4" in height. Lorgnette handle measures 5 7/8" long.

When the lorgnette handle is extended the length is 9 1/2".
