A gorgeous and complete antique French silver & gilt vermeil 15-piece tea service set comprising of twelve spoons, a pair of sugar tongs with final, an ornate tea strainer and scalloped shell-shaped tea caddy spoon, all finely housed in the original cream velvet lined presentation box! Each piece is beautifully engraved and hallmarked with the French 2nd standard Minerve mark for .800/1000, as well as with the boar's head mark also designating .800 finesse. Maker's mark with initials PP with a crown emblem, possibly for Paul Pays, circa 1891.

In very good condition with light wear to the box commensurate with age. Please see photos for measurements.
