Both portraits are gorgeous, hand painted with tiny brush-strokes and bright, vivid colors! They portray beautiful women with powdered hair, both wear matching outfits by way of a white gown with blue accents! One wears a blue sash with blue flowers in her hair and the other wears a blue jacket with ribbons. Difficult to identify them, possibly one of the daughters of King Louis XV or Madame Pompadour?

Both ornate handles are marked FRANCE and a final in the the form of a ribbon bow adorns the beveled mirror.
Condition: They are in good condition considering the age. There is smudging to the paint on the lower portion of the portrait on the mirror. There is a hairline crack to the enamel on the mirror (located below the portrait). A small area of light scratches to the enamel on the brush. Some discoloration to the metal from use and age.
Mirror measures 11 1/4" in total length and about 4 1/8" at its widest.
Brush measures 9" in total length and 2 5/8" at its widest.
