A gorgeous set of 18 antique French sterling silver spoons made by Emile Puiforcat. The complete set is housed in its original blue silk lined presentation box, and consists of 12 table or soup spoons as well as 6 tea spoons. Each spoon is beautifully decorated with a laurel leaf boarder along the handle and a monogram of initials GF at the back.

Marked with the French Minerve 1st standard mark for .950/1000 sterling and makers mark for Émile Puiforcat, a notable Parisian silversmith who traded between 1857 through 1883 at 18 rue Chapon, Paris.

The sterling set is in very good condition, the box shows wear from age and use.

Tablespoons measures 8 3/8" in length and the tea spoons measure 5 1/4" in length.

The presentation box measures 9 1/4" x10 1/2"

Total weight of the silver is approx. 1,138 g.
