Antique French Triple Scent Caddy Blue Opaline Glass Bottle Set

A gorgeous antique 19th century French perfume casket or caddy housing three blue opaline glass scent bottles. The casket is beautifully veneered in amboyna wood trimmed by what appears to be walnut and ebony or ebonized wood inlay. Nestled inside a blue velvet interior are three scent bottles of rich Celeste blue opaline glass with original stoppers all accented by gilt painted stars and swirls.

Measures 5 7/8" x 3 1/8" in width x 3 7/8" tall. Each bottle measures approx. 3" tall.

Overall the piece is in very good condition. The exterior of the box is in wonderful condition while the blue velvet fabric lining the interior shows some signs of fading and wear from age and use. It does have a lock, but the box is lacking a key.

All three of the glass perfume bottles are in good condition with wear to the gilt painted decorations. There are flea-bite nicks to the bottom of the stoppers.
