A stunning pair of antique 19th century French purple mother of pearl opera glasses! Ornate brass mounts surrounds the barrels, giving it a nice decorative touch. The paneling is just beautifully done, a rich deep purple colored mother of pearl that absolutely glows and illuminates with a lovely rainbow of iridescence-displaying magnificent flashes of bright colors! Marked along the eye pieces with L. Noir & Cie Paris and a star logo.

In good condition, views nicely, there is paint wear around the eyepieces. The case shows wear from age and it is not original but it holds the glasses nicely inside. The opera glasses measure 3 7/8" in length and about 2 1/8" in height. The glasses can extend to a height of 2 7/8".
