What a gorgeous rarity! An antique 19th century English sterling silver and cut crystal perfume or scent bottle in a flattened elliptical oval form. Such brilliance to the crystal, illuminating just beautifully when reflected by light. A masterful cut pattern of diamond points and buttons surround the entire crystal perfume bottle. There is even a flatten surface at the bottom to allow the bottle to stand upright!

Hinged flip top lid opens with a push button closer and is adorned with a monogram of the initials ZZ or NN? done in fancy script. The perfume bottle is hallmarked with the lion passant, uncrowned leopard, letter F for London 1881with a duty mark used between 1838-1890. Also hallmark with maker’s mark initials of V.L or W.L

Inside the lid is a jewelers plaque that reads: Leuchars Piccadilly London & Rue de la Paix Paris.

The whole piece is in very good condition, with a few small nicks hidden by the cut pattern. The perfume bottle measures 10 5/8” in length and 2 ¼” in width.
