Antique 19th century Napoleon III era French double scent caddy or perfume casket of black lacquered wood accented by brass inlay. A stylized cartouche adorns the top of the lid as well as an inlaid brass escutcheon shaped lock. The box opens to reveal a blue satin lined interior encasing two cut crystal perfume bottles with facet stoppers and polished pontils, both possibly made by Baccarat? Working lock and key. There are some flea bites to the crystal bottles as well as chipping to the bottom of one of the stoppers. The wooden box is in good condition with scratches and nicking from use. The box measures 4" in height, 4 3/4" in length and 3 1/4" in width. Perfume bottles measure 2 3/4" in height and 1 3/4" length.
