Large (2 1/2" long x 1 1/8" high) bold, and beautiful! This antique enamel on sterling figural pin of a peacock is from the Art Deco period pre-WWII and made in Germany and designed by Alice Caviness. Sparkling marcasites make this a true standout! Please note that I have added several other figural pins from this era to my site. Also, please note that this identical pin is featured on page 58 of the new 2006 Schiffer book entitled Antique Enameled Jewelry by Dale Reeves Nicholls.
