Wonderful item! Large (16 1/2" without the lid and 18" with it note that the photo states 18 1/2" - it is 18")! This Old Imari pattern by Royal Crown Derby was handpainted and gilded. A lot of gold tracery work on the deep cobalt ground. Handles are amazing! Royal Crown Derby pieces like this are so incredibly hard to find intact and especially with the lid in one piece! Worth every penny! Some gold wear on the lid and some gold dulling on various places. The piece came out of an estate where there were smokers and the dealer I bought it from cleaned it a bit too vigorously. Being offered here at a great price and totally in accord with its condition.
