Tortoise Shell Hinged Cigarette Case

Measuring approx. 3" x 2 7/8" x 5/8" this is a unique item. The clasp works great and snaps shut. The condition is excellent with extremely minor use scratches on the surface. (wouldn't be old if these were lacking).

Most likely from the early 1900s. Neat item that you could probably repurpose to carry other things than cigarettes. Of course, when it was used for cigarettes, it would have been non-filtered ones.
