Made in Italy, this wonderful 3 dimensional elephant pendant is heavy 18K gold and quite large. It measures 2" x 1 3/4" plus 3/8" for the bail. It weighs in at 30.9 grams. There is dark blue enamel on the headdress atop the elephant's head as well as dark red enamel on the jewels that dangle from the headdress. There are a couple of spots on the blue enamel where it has been thinly applied and the gold shows through (not damage - done during the manufacturing process). Excellent condition and with nice textural features and granulation. Trunk up for good luck!
