This one is, perhaps, my favorite. I have not identified the type of bird, but it is very possiby a hummingbird with its long skinny beak. It is in superb condition. Bright yellow and blue enamels and bright marcasites add to the exotic design. It measures 2 1/4" high. The markings on the back are 925 "foreign". I believe this was made during the American occupation of Germany in the late 40's. Certainly, it is consistent with the designs of Alice Caviness during that period.
