This gorgeous plate dates from around 1910-20. The variety of orchid is identified on the reverse (see last photo) along with the Spode hallmark and the number 10 meaning it was number 10 in a series of plates on the same subject.

The artist's signature appears on this and all of the 10 plates (other 9 are listed separately). His name is J. Price.

The plates are in excellent condition. Each plate is 10 1/2" in diameter. The plates are gold rimmed. The technique is a combination of hand enamelling and transfer printing. Superb in every way!

The price for the complete set of 10 is $3,500.00. They are being listed separately because there is no other way to have so many photos. Also, the costs for shipping shown are for one plate.
