Very Large Black on Black Cameo Pendant

This very large pendant measures approx. 2 3/8" x 1 3/4" x 3/8" deep, not counting the bail. The bail, by the way, is made of the same black material. It appears to bakelite, but does not pass the Simichrome test for bakelite (still could be, however). The bail is a split ring which means it could be added to a chain without stringing or interchanged with different chains. It would also look great on just a black satin ribbon or cord. It is in excellent condition. Great for jewelry makers or collectors! I believe this item to be at least 50 years old. It was purchased from a neighbor who is in her 90s and she said it was her grandmother's!
