This wonderful 1920's Chinese Export brooch is featured on the cover of Dale Reeves Nicholls book published in 2006 entitled "Antique Enameled Jewelry". See page 152 for the illustration and page 154 for pricing ($350-450). This one is in excellent condition. It measures 2 3/4" x 2 5/8" (includes turquoise dangles). It is cloisonne enamel work on a gilt silver base and features many butterflies. As with most jewelry of this type coming out of China in that period, this one is just marked "Silver" on the back side.
