Measuring approx. 3" x 2 7/8" x 5/8" this is a unique item. The clasp works great and snaps shut. The condition is excellent with extremely minor use scratches on the surface. (wouldn't be old if these were lacking). Most likely from the early 1900s. Neat item that you could probably repurpose to carry other things than cigarettes. Of course, when it was used for cigarettes, it would have been non-filtered ones.

This is the smallest box in the collection. It measures only approx. 2" x 1" x 1 5/8" and is footed. It is artist signed It is the "Firebird" legend. A man holding a bird painted in vibrant reds and oranges facing a green robed king and there is also a horse in the scene. Very beautiful gilt scrollwork frames the scene and is painted all around the bottom of the box as a border as well. This box is in excellent condition.

Artist signed, this charmingly shaped box is square but the top is domed. It is surrounded by gilt scrolling ornamentation. It depicts a man holding what looks to me to be a feather that glows from within. There is also a horse dominant in the scene. Apparently, it depicts the legend known as, "Firebird Feather". In excellent condition, this covered jar features numerous "portholes" cut into the glass that range in color from deep cobalt blue to clear. There is just enough wear on the ground, flat bottom to indicate that this piece has some good age to it. Our best guess is mid-20th century, but perhaps earlier. It measures 8 1/2" high.
