This lovely pair is probably mid-20th century. The maker Fisher, started in 1936 and as far as I know, is still in business. The pair is in excellent condition. They have stylized claw feet and a very nice scrolly edge. They each measure approx. 2 3/4" x 2" x 1 1/4" high. Price is for both.

It has a pedestal that is reeded and decorated with chased acanthus leaves. The bracket from which the rings dangle is also fashioned into leaf forms. This figural set is marked 950 sterling which means that the silver content is higher than the standard of 925 silver. They are in excellent condition and are in the form of a robed man and a robed woman. The man wears a hat and carrys a long handled smoking pipe while the woman is balancing a bowl or basket on her head and is carrying what appears a bat or club. The woman measures slightly taller than the man at just above 3". The base is 1 1/4" in diameter.

This wonderful little (5 1/2" diameter) bonbon bowl was made by the Whiting Mfg. Co. in 1909 (date mark shown in last photo). The beautiful raised designwork shows a thistle like bud and berries and foliage along with scrolling. Really nice detailing. The Whiting hallmark is also on the back side but it is very worn and faint. We almost missed being able to decipher it, but with a magnifier, turned the right way, the symbol becomes crystal clear!
