This postmarked card from 1912 (postmarked from Manchester, NH) is #188 of the Hallowe'en Series by Tuck & Sons. This card features a young boy and girl totally startled by an equally startled black cat atop a smiling jack o'lantern. The saying is, "For luck! Don't say "Scat!" to the black cat on Hallowe'en! Very charming portrayal of the children. Bright, clear colors. Postmark ink bleed through over the "Don't say" area. Extremely slight corner rounding.

This card is in superb condition. It has a trademark on lower right that says, "copyright 1906 by H.I. Robbins, Boston". On the lower left is the number 790. On the reverse there is a monogram-type hallmark that says Boston, Mass, & Germany. The card depicted a somewhat wild-eyed and windblown Santa dressed in a blue robe with red cuffs and red hat. This is a really cool Thanksgiving greeting card from 1910. It features a reverse American Flag along with a variety of typical Thanksgiving images some of which are embossed. It is in excellent condition with some corner where. The back of the card has a cancellation mark from Chicago, 1910 and one cent stamp. It is addressed to a Miss Hilda Nelson of Reed City, Mich.
