SOLD Pretty Purple Enamel Mesh Purse with Jewel Frame By Whiting and Davis

Here is a beautiful gold flat mesh mesh with pretty color enamel on it. Made by Whiting and Davis in the 1920s it is in excellent condition. This bag is gold, and has a beautiful diamond design with purple, blue, the gold in the middle then white outlining the diamond. Then a gold mesh with a tiny purple with one tile of gold diamond. Pretty Van Dyke fringe with all colors at the bottom. Then they gold metal frame with square topaz rhinestones and faux pearls with gold leaf overlays on the frame and then lacy openwork. All of this beautiful design and stones are on both sides of the frame. Condition: All of the mesh is present, attached and with its enamel color. The purse came with only a couple links of its original chain, I kept them and added a Whiting and Davis gold chain from another purse. Measurements are 4 1/2 inches wide and 7 inches long.
