SOLD Edwardian Black Leather Purse With Painted Flowers And Celluloid Clasp

Here is a beautiful black leather purse with lovely floral and stud embossing on the front of the bag. The flowers and leaves are colored red and green. The rest of the purse is all black. This purse is from around 1910 and in very good condition. There is a gold tone metal frame, most of the gold is gone with a large "pyramid" triangle shape marble celluloid on top. Pull back the brass clasp in the front of the it to the beige faille lined inside. There is an attached round mirror and a middle swinging coin purse. There are no tears and it is all attached to the frame. The leather is worn some at the sides but there are no tears.. Under the leather strap is some beautiful black fabric with gold designs. Just another wonderful vintage detail. Measurements are 9 inches wide and 5 1/2 inches tall. with the celluloid piece it is 7 inches tall. The handle has a 6 inch drop.
