Here is a gorgeous dark red leather satchel purse by Peck and Peck of New York. It is from the 1960s and in excellent condition. The leather is a really nice lipstick red ( more red than orange) and the texture is really really nice. The brass is very shiny, with very little marks on it. Nice brass plate decoration on the front with an open pocket behind it for more storage, The handle is red leather and adjustable from 9 inches for a handbag to 16 inches for a shoulder bag. The inside is lined in bright red cotton with a zipper pocket and it's original stuffing. Wonderful bag. I just want to mention that the handles have some wear just a little bit drier but are intact. Measurements are 12 inches wide and 6 tall and 2 1/2 inches deep.
