SOLD Brown Alligator Kelly Style Purse Made in France for Russell & Bromley

Here is a beautiful genuine dark brown alligator kelly style purse made in France in the 1950s. It was made for the department store Russell & Bromley and is in excellent condition. Made in France bags always use the best skins. They are very well made, elegant bags that used quality skins that are supple, smooth and that always have a very nice glossy shine to them. There is gold hardware with a large decorative clasp that is mostly silver and minimal gold loss to the handle holders and feet. The matching dark brown leather lining has two large open pockets, one lipstick pocket and one zipper pocket. The round, stiff handle is intact and will last another 40 years. Measurements are 11 3/4 inches wide and 6 1/2 inches tall and 3 inches deep and the handle has a 5 1/2 inch drop.
