Here is a gorgeous genuine red crocodile purse and red leather lined purse. It is from the 1940s, not signed but high quality made and in excellent condition. It has a beautiful boxy satchel shape with tight small stitching, smooth, soft and glossy crocodile skins. The frame is covered too with brass covered ends and a brass piece in the middle and an art deco shaped clasp sitting high in the middle. The handle is wide at 1 inch and long at 8 inches, it is intact and original. As I said, the inside is lined in red leather. There is a zipper pocket with a cute red bakelite zipper pull, an open pocket behind it and on the otherside a double "V" shaped open pocket with a red leather coin purse in it. The purse looks like it was never used. There is some wear to the gold color due to age. The rest of the bag inside and out is gorgeous. Measurements are 9 1/2 inches wide and 6 1/2 inches tall, including the frame, and 3 inches deep.
