Here is a cute and wonderful brown leather satchel purse from the early 1900s. It is a souvenir purse from Niagara Falls and it is in excellent condition for its age. The leather is soft and smooth, some marks but no tears or peeling. The picture on the front is of the Falls and the background trees of the Falls. At the frame it reads "Niagara Falls." On the handle hinge it says Pat. Jan. 21, 05." The leather handle is intact. The brass frame has a great gold patina. The inside is lined in forest green faille fabric with three open pockets. One has a round mirror which is clear and there is a name on the back "Ruby M .." I cannot make out the rest. and the cutest little matching coin purse in the other pocket. It is very clean and no odors or tears. If you collect souvenir purses or old leather bags this one is a beauty. Measurements are 6 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches tall and 1/2 inch deep.
