Here is a very unique Arts and Crafts leather bag. It is a brown leather whip stitched clutch purse with a leather handle on the back. It has very pretty line texture to the leather and the front has a pretty floral embossing. The gold frame is engraved inside "FJ" with a "RE-PAT 17,514." next to it. This is a first reissue patent from 1930. The inside is lined in tan suede that is a bit soiled but still very soft. There is a middle coin purse lined in white leather. It comes with a suede backed mirror. The silver is spidery. The clasp is the unique part of the purse. I have never seen one like this. It is a stone or marble on brass. It is intact and closed tightly. Measurements are 7 1/2 inches wide and 6 inches tall and 1 inch deep.
