Here is a beautiful silver metal pendant vanity case by Richard Hudnut. From the 1920s it is in excellent condition. This is from the "Art Deco Cases series." This one is "Art Deco Profile Faces in turquoise and ivory enamel." This compact has an attache lipstick under the finger ring, a spring opening, an interior mirror, it is missing its lid mirror, there is a puff and some powder. It is signed "Deauville, Richard Hudnut, USA" inside. There is are a few turquoise flecks of enamel missing and some ivory has rubbed off from usage. The enameling on these compacts were not done very well. Measurements are 2 1/4 inch round and 3/8ths deep. This very collectible compact values at 300-350 when complete.
